Gayle G. GILBERT

Mrs. Gayle G. Delaune, a retired Secretary for the LSU School of Dentistry, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2005 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of the Stanley J. Delaune, Sr. Loving mother of Stanley Jr., Emile, Cheri and Eric Delaune. Mother-in-Law of Donna, Victoria, and Diane Delaune. Daughter of the late Elvira Catchot Gilbert and Emile Earl Gilbert. Grandmother of Nicole, Trey, Devin, Victoria, Erica, Brittney, Vincent and Dallas. Mrs. Delaune was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Chalmette, La. for the past 25 years. Mrs. Delaune also served as Secretary for the Association of Senior Citizens. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, June 7th from 9:00AM 11:00AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
