Frances L. GIROUARD

MERIDEN - Frances L. Girouard, 84, went home to God on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.She was born in Plainville July 29, 1920, and resided most of her life in Meriden, with her best friend and sister, Peg Salonia.She is survived by her son, Laurence F. Girouard and his wife, Tracy, of Richmond, Va.; she was the second mother to Brooke (Salonia) Hathaway and her husband, Keith, of Bowdoin, Maine, and Chris Salonia of Meriden; her sister, Marilyn; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurence O. Girouard; her daughter, Sharon; sisters, Shirley Burke, Dorothy Conlon and Helen Siry.Memorial gathering will be at the family's residence at 82 Smithfield Ave., Meriden, between 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday (TODAY) Feb. 19.
