Rita L. GIROUARD

Rita L. Girouard, 75, died April 11, 2005, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, following a brief illness. Ms. Girouard was born in Massachusetts on March 3, 1930. She was a resident of Derry for the past year and formerly lived in Danville. Ms. Girouard enjoyed making fudge, going out to eat and attending Lowell Spinners baseball games. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.She attended Holy Angels Church in Plaistow. She is survived by many extended family members and close friends. She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Jeanne Ninteau, in 2003. ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Graveside services were held on Thursday, April 14, at 1:30 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery, Hampstead Road, East Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, is handling the arrangements.
