Annette T. GIROUX

JACOBSEN, ANNETTE T., 78, of Glendale Dr., died Sunday at Kent Regency Health Center. She was the wife of Walter E. Jacobsen they were married for 56 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Evelina Giroux. Annette was secretary of the former Kent County Sunshine for many years.Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Glenn and Gordon Jacobsen, her grandsons, Mathew and Nicholas Jacobsen, a brother Norman Giroux and sisters, Rita Sylvestre and Claire MacLeod. She was a sister of the late Joseph, Arthur and Raymond Giroux, Gertrude Houle and Doris Kowal.The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM in the Robert Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Thursday morning 10:00-11:30 AM. Please omit flowers. Published in The Providence Journal on 11/15/2005.
