Edwina GISCLAIR

Edwina Gisclair Griffin, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005.Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in the church cemetery.She is survived by her husband, Jarvis Griffin; one son, Darrell Griffin; one daughter, Shelly Doucet; one brother, Layman Gisclair; one sister, Della Plaisance; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Viola Pitre Gisclair; and five brothers, Sam, Alton, Orleans, Constant and Valance Gisclair.She was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church.
