Ermine G. Pitre at Raceland, LA on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 10:35 am. Wife of the late Louis J. Pitre, Sr. Daughter of the late Ludvic and Amelia Gisclair. Mother of Louis J. Pitre and wife, Marion, Ludvic P. Pitre and Fiance Gail, Faye Sapia and husband ,Jackie and Mary Ann Waguespack and the late Ralph A. Pitre. Mother-in-law of Janis Pitre. Sister of Hecton Gisclair and wife Violine, Adam Gisclair and Antoine Gisclair and wife, Blanche and the late Louis Gisclair, Dewey Vegas, Delphine Bergeron, Mae Cheramie and Clara Danos. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A native of Cut Off, LA and a resident of Bayou Blue and Raceland. Age 88 years. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, August 22, 2005 at St. Hilary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna. Visitation will be on Monday at St. Hilary Catholic church from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time. She was a parishoner of St. Hilary Catholic Church and a retired employee from the Jefferson Parish School Board. Samart Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
