Harris GOODROE

Harris Goodroe - PINEHURST - Harris Goodroe, age 76, died Wednesday, January 26 at his residence. Harris was born in Dooly County on February 21, 1928. He was a member of Pinehurst United Methodist Church where he had served as a Steward. In 1957, he opened Pinehurst Equipment Company and operated it until 2004. His parents, Charles Bruce Goodroe and Eva Harris Goodroe, preceded him in death. -Survivors include wife, Gloria R. Goodroe, of Pinehurst; daughters, Anne Greer of Eastman, Delle Shepperd of Leesburg; brother, Charles B. Goodroe of Unadilla; grandchildren, Bill Greer (Kristi), Matt Sheppard, Molly Sheppard, Julie G. Gardner (Gordon); great grandchildren, Ansley Greer, Ava Greer. -Graveside services will be held at 3P.M., Thursday in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla. -The family will greet friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M.
