Goyett, Jack A. Essexville, Michigan On August 17, 2005, Jack Allen Goyet slipped quietly away from those who loved him. He shed his life here with us like a well-worn jacket-lovingly and regretfully-to wrap himself in the warmth of his father. Jack was many things to the many people whose lives he touched. Son, Brother, Soldier, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, dog lover, hot head and loyal friend. We'll each remember him in our own special way, but to every one of us Jack Goyett will always remain deeply loved and sorely missed. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jack retired from General Motors Powertrain in Bay City. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion T. Bertram, whom he married in 1947. Jack also leaves a daughter, Dianne Lynn (Tim) Morand; 2 grandchildren, Matt (Stacie) Stanton and Amy (Scott) Hagerstrom; 5 great grandchildren: McKenzie, Dagny, David and Amelia Hagerstrom and Madison Stanton; 2 sisters-in-law, Janet (George) Ayala and Isabella Thomas, a special nephew, Joe Goyett and his special friend, Butts. Private burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery. No visiting hours are scheduled. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Kidney Foundation.
