Ricky D. GRATTON

Gratton, Ricky D. -- August 22, 2005 Ricky D. Gratton, 44, of Truxton, passed away Monday at University Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Cortland and was the proprietor of the Hiawatha Inn in Truxton. He was a member of the Pioneer Fast Pitch League and the Truxton Snowmobile Club. Surviving are his wife Christine; sisters, Mary Gratton of Homer, Theresa Beard of Syracuse, July Gratton of Cortland; brothers, Bruce of Harrisburg, PA, and Wayne of Truxton; and his Black Lab "Rebel". He was predeceased by his parents, Kelley and Polly Gratton; a sister, Brenda Hyer, and a brother, Larry. Services: Thursday at 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Truxton. Calling hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
