Rita M. GRAVEL

LALIBERTE, RITA M., 75, of Church St., died June 12, 2005 in RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Laliberte. She was born in Lowell, MA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Hamel) Gravel. She lived in Central Falls for 44 years before moving to East Providence. She was a silk screener for Cathedral Art and Metal for several years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of Holy Cross Church.She is survived by four sons, Bishop Raymond Laliberte of East Providence, Paul Laliberte of Lincoln, Daniel Laliberte of Burrillville, Michael Laliberte of Central Falls and one daughter Elaine Lamontagne of Johnston. She is survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is survived by one brother Maurice Gravel of Manchester, NH and three sisters, Lorraine Routhier of Hooksett, NH, Yvette Latulippe and Anita Gravel, both of Manchester, NH. She was the sister of the late Henry, Richard, Robert, Doris and Florence Gravel and Theresa Soule.The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM in Swan Point Cemetery Chapel, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Burial will be private.
