LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005, at Syrie Funeral Home Memorial Chapel for Hilda Ann Guidry, 55, who died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Autumn Breeze Retirement Home. Services will be conducted by Steve Primeaux, chaplain for Southern Care Hospice of Lafayette. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.She is survived by one daughter, Linda G. Washington; one son, Lennis L. Guidry; two granddaughters, Sherlynn A. Washington and Briana A. Washington; one son-in-law, Leroy Washington, all of Lafayette; two sisters, Genevieve Guidry, of Baton Rouge and Shirley Mae Trahan, of New Orleans; brother-in-law, Joseph Dugas Sr., of New Iberia; and a host of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Bonin Guidry; her father, Edmond "Cryp" Guidry; and sisters, Mary Ann Dugas and Lucille Guidry.The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice of Lafayette and Hospice of Acadiana for the excellent care given to our loved one.Visitation will be observed at Syrie Funeral Home from 7 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005, until time of services.Syrie Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
