Maydell Ann GUIDRY

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home Chapel for Maydell Ann Guidry, 94. Maydell was born Nov. 30, 1910 and went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment was in Fountain Memorial Cemetery.The Rev. Jeff Ables conducted the funeral service.She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Roberts, of Lafayette, La.; her grandchildren, JoAnn Mouton, Lann Caldwell, Troy Caldwell, Edwin Roberts, Patrick Boutte, Keith Boutte, Pam Boutte, Ronnie Schoeffler, Jerry Schoeffler, Bobby Schoeffler, Nelson Schoeffler and Glenda Schoeffler; two sisters, Mello Castille and Genevieve Duhon, all of Lafayette, La.; and 26 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julius Hardy Boutte Sr.; second husband, Lodger Thibeaux; two daughters, JoAnn Boutte and Ramona Schoeffler; and a son, Julius "J H" Hardy Boutte Jr.Pallbearers were Troy Caldwell, Lann Caldwell, George Mouton, Edwin Roberts, Glenda Schoeffler and Paul Veillon.The family requested visiting hours be observed from noon until 8 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005, and will continue from 9 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
