Ruth Eileen BERGLUND

Ruth Eileen Jonah 1922 - 2004 DAWSON SETTLEMENT, NB - Ruth Eileen Jonah, of Dawson Settlement, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at the age of 82 years. Born in Saint John, NB; Ruth was the daughter of the late Axel and Lila (Stiles) Berglund. She attended Dawson Settlement Baptist Church and was a Dominion Life Member of the W.M.S. before her marriage, she was a School Teacher then later stayed home to raise her children. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Donald) Huffman of Cumberland, ON, and Lorna (Doran) Milton of Dawson Settlement; two sons, Byron (Lois) Jonah of Edmonton, AB and Darryll (Annette) Jonah of Sussex; 11 grandchildren, Neil (Cathy) Huffman of Merrickville, ON, Sean Huffman of Cumberland, ON, Lisa (Dave) Edie of Dugald, MB, Brent (Chrissie) Jonah of Calgary, Karla (Jerry) Penner of Edmonton, Nalan (Darren) Stretch of Dawson Settlement, Mitchell (Darcie) Jonah of Norton, NB, Ross Jonah of Jasper, AB, Melissa Milton of Prince Rupert, BC, Nathan Milton and Benjamin Milton both of Dawson Settlement; four great grandchildren; a special cousin, Ralph (Norma) Kelly of Riverview; and by several nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Jonah in 2001 and by a great grandson, Noah Edie. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road, Riverview, on Friday, November 26, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Pastor David Ross officiating. Interment will be in Jonah Cemetery, Dawson Settlement. Donations made to the Dawson Settlement Church Building Fund, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Gideons would be appreciated by Ruth's family.
