Georgette HAUSER

Georgette Hauser Moreau, a loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at her home in Kenner, LA. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 60. Mrs. Moreau was born in Marrero, LA, graduated from West Jefferson High School and resided in Kenner for the last 20 years. She was a member of the T.A.K. Social Club and the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the first All Women's Soccer League at Lafreniere Park and a ""Top of the Line'' fisherette who enjoyed bowling, dancing, cooking and casino's. Mrs. Moreau was a quiet, personal woman with a unique sense of humor. She is survived by: her husband, Robert J. Moreau; two sons: Robert Jr. and Ty Moreau; her mother, Marguerite Hauser; sister, Beverly Richards; and granddaughter, Alyssa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Parkway, on Friday, January 14, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Published in The Times-Picayune on 1/13/2005.
