Oscar Hebert -- JEANERETTE - Services for Oscar "Junius" Hebert, 87, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Degeyter and Rev. Peter Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.Visiting hours will be observed Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service with a rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. at David Funeral Home.A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Hebert died at 1:09 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Masion Teche Nursing Center.Mr. Hebert was a Salesman for Consolidated Companies. He was a member of St. John's Usher Society and former member of K.C. Council #1425.He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ann Hebert of Lake Charles; a brother, Donald Hebert of Baltimore; a sister, Emma Belle Judice of Loreauville; two grandsons, Micheal Landry and wife Carolyn of Youngsville and Malcolm Landry and wife Laura of New Iberia; two granddaughters, Lisa Myers and husband Kyle of Tioga and Jo Ann Meaux and husband Jimmy of Lake Charles and seven great-grandchildren, Kyleen, Scott, Shanell, Grace, Maggie, Brody and Makenzie.Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his wife, Hughelle "Be-Be" O'Neil Hebert; parents, George O. and Alidia Hebert Hebert; a son, Malcolm Oscar Hebert and three grandsons, Gerard, John and Shannon Landry.Pallbearers will be Ronnie Thompson, James Meaux, Kenneth Judice, Danny Judice, Raymond Reed, Johnny Ardoin and Neil McJunkins.Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Myers, Malcolm Landry, Micheal Landry, George McJunkins, Lawless Thibodeaux and Dr. Steven Boudreaux.David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of the arrangements.
