Denise Janine HOOD

POQUETTE, DENISE JANINE HOOD, 38, of Clearwater, died Sunday (Oct. 9, 2005) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. She came here in 1973 from her native Chicago. She owned and operated a cleaning business and was working on a degree in nursing. She was an avid reader and enjoyed animals. She was a Seventh Day Adventist and kept an online Web site journal at www.caringbridge.org. Survivors include two sons, Shawn and Zachary, both of Dunedin; her mother, Pamela Hood, Clearwater; her father, Carroll Hood, Brooksville; two sisters, Sandra Scheule, Palm Harbor, and Cathy Hood, Tallahassee; a brother, Douglas Hood, Clearwater; her grandmother, Kathryn Harmison, Chicago; her companion, Michael O'Hara, Dunedin; and several nieces and nephews.
