BREAUX BRIDGE - A prayer service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Dianne Dejean Champagne, 51, who died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas.Dianne was an employee at Wal-Mart for 13 years.Survivors include her husband, Fabian J. Champagne, of Breaux Bridge; her son, Blain Dejean, of Carencro; her sister, Linda Griffin, of Denton, Texas; and two grandchildren, Jewel and Hally Dejean, of Carencro.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hudson; her sister, Denise Flannigan; and her brother, Ted Hudson.The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. today until time of service.Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, (337) 332-2111, is in charge of arrangements.
