Florence A. JOHNSON

Florence A. (Allard) Johnson, 94, of Fairfax, Va., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005. She was born in Isanti, Minn., on Jan. 10, 1911. She was a longtime resident of Duluth and moved to Fairfax, Va., to be with her daughter six years ago. She worked as a private caterer, as the first cook for the St. Mary Hospital's coffee shop and as the cook for the Duluth Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl B. Allard; her second husband, Hilbert Johnson; two sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Schell of Fairfax, Va.; two step sons, Bud Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Stephen Johnson of Minneapolis; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
