Melva A. JORDAN

CHICOPEE - Melva A. (Jordan) Duplisea, 62, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee died Tuesday May 31, 2005, at the Willimansett Nursing Home. Born in Bangor Maine she resided in Chicopee most of her life. She worked in the laundry department at the Willimansett Nursing Home for many years. Her husband Glenn, of 39 years, pre-deceased her in 1999. Mrs. Duplisea leaves behind her father Robert Jordan of Maine; seven sons, Robert of Maine, Chuck of Chicopee, Kevin and his wife Janet of Granby, Stephen of Chicopee, Duane of Chicopee, Blaine and his wife Gina of Springfield, and David of Chicopee. She also leaves one brother Herb Jordan of Herman Maine, and two sisters Mary Jordan of Alton, Maine and Beverly Booker of Carmel Maine. Mrs. Duplisea will also be missed by thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. There will be a graveside service at the Fairview Cemetery at 11 a. m. on Friday June 3. Donations can be made to the Special Olympics or the Tigers Athletic Youth.
