MARIE E. LaBARGE BURLINGTON — Marie E. LaBarge, 87, of Burlington went to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, in Birchwood Terrace Healthcare. She was born in Burlington on June 16, 1918, the daughter of the late Robert and Matilda (St. Germain) Kieslich. On July 15, 1940, she was married to Raymond A. LaBarge in Burlington. Raymond predeceased her Nov. 18, 1994. Marie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Duquette and her husband, Roger, of Bradenton, Fla.; her son, John LaBarge and his wife, Kitty, of Grand Isle; her grandchildren, Kevin Duquette and his wife, Nicole, Darren Duquette and his wife, Haley, Jason LaBarge and his wife, Tenley, Laura Thompson and her husband, Dan, and Christina LaBarge; her three great-grandchildren, Hayden and Taylor Marie Duquette and Madelyn LaBarge; and by her sister, Rita Johnson of South Burlington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant brother, Howard; and by her siblings, Robert, Russell and Pricilla. The family wishes to send a special thank you to all the care givers at Birchwood Terrace, Special Care Unit, for all their dedication, love and caring they showed to Marie. They are very special people and all of them should be proud of the work they do. Thank you, all. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie's memory may be made to the Birchwood Terrace Healthcare Resident Savings Fund, 43 Starr Farm Road, Burlington, Vt. 05401. Visiting hours will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Ready Funeral & Cremation Service South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington.
