Agnes L. LABARRE

Agnes L. Peltier -- February 24, 1903 -- April 23, 2005 -- TAFTVILLE -- Mrs. Agnes L. Peltier of 24 North 5th Ave., Taftville passed away Saturday morning at W.W. Backus Hospital. She was born in Griswold, February 24, 1903 the daughter of Hubert and Melanise (Leroux) LaBarre. A resident of Taftville most of her life, Mrs. Peltier had been employed at the former Ponemah Mills as a cloth inspector, retiring many years ago. On June 18, 1928 in St. John's Church, Plainfield she was united in marriage to Paul C. Peltier. He passed away October 25, 1969. Mrs. Peltier was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Taftville. She is survived by two sons Paul G. Peltier of Griswold and Edward J. Peltier of Palm Springs, CA, a daughter Elaine M. Gaucher of Norwich, four grandchildren Jayne Gaucher Hibbard, Katherine PeltierSharp, Paul B. Peltier and Roy E. Peltier. Mrs. Peltier was predeceased by a granddaughter Susanne GaucherLazur as well as six brothers, six sisters and a step brother. Funeral to assemble at Godere Funeral Home, 21 North 2nd Ave., Taftville Thursday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church Taftville at 10:00 am.
