Burdick LABBEE

WILLIAMS, Burdick (Labbee) -- Burdick (Labbee) Williams was born in Wallagrass, ME, on May 27, 1921 to Ernest and Cecile (Gagnon) Labbee. She died Wednesday, (January 12, 2005) at Blair Manor. She graduated from Madawaska Normal School and taught school for a couple of years. She moved to Conn. and was employed at Hamilton Standard for two years. She went on to work for the State of Conn. for a year then found her home at Aetna Casualty Insurance and retired after 40 years. She is predeceased by her husband Albert Williams; two brothers, Carroll who died in World War II and Danford Labbee. She is survived by two sisters, Augustine Daigle of St. Petersburg, FL and Esther Labbee of Stafford Springs; a brother, Reynolds Labbee and his wife Gilberte of Madawaska, ME, and a sister-in-law Shirley Labbee of Cromwell. She leaves numerous nieces and especially Kevin Daigle who was her caregiver. The funeral and burial will be private. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association. Rose Hill Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
