Constance R. LABONTE

WILLIMANTIC - Constance R. LaBonte, 91, of Willimantic, CT passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Living Center on Sunday, November 20, 2005. Beloved wife of the late J. Raymond LaBonte she is survived by her son John and daughter inlaw Michele, and predeceased by her beloved daughter Sandra. She wove kindness and warmth into every baby's blanket and sweater that she knitted or crocheted. A women of strong character and endless generosity, "Connie" was an active parishioner at the First Congregational Church, a devoted contributor to the Willimantic Camp Ground Associations Woman's Club, and a loving grandmother and greatgrand mother. She is remembered by Christine and Warren Knight and children Kelsey, Adam, Amanda and Alexis, of Lisbon, Darie and Melissa Kristen McLaughlin, and son Andrew, of Willimantic, Amy and Scott Dunstan, and children Madison and Ryan, of Mansfield, Donald Gaines of Jewett city, and Sarah Miller of Columbus, OH. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational church on Saturday, November 26th at 6pm for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Building Fund - First Congregational Church, 199 Valley Street, Willimantic, CT. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Windham Hospital, 4 Shea an St. Joseph's Living Center for their uncompromising kindness and compassion as they helped her family be by her side during her final days.
