Richard W. LABRECQUE

BERWICK, Maine — Richard W. "Dick" Labrecque, age 53, of 4 Anderson Lane, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass., surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with heart disease.He was born in Dover, N.H., on Dec. 3, 1951. He was involved in and loved racing for years. He built many race cars. He enjoyed hunting with his grandson, Ryan, and also enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and long rides with his wife, Brenda. He was an auto body mechanic and ran his own business his whole life. He enjoyed playing Pokeno with all his kids, and he also enjoyed playing Yahtzee with his very special daughter-in-law and his wife.He was predeceased by his parents, Roland Sr. and Florence Labrecque; and a sister, Helen.He leaves behind his wife, Brenda (Gaudette) Labrecque of Berwick; a special mom, Doris Grady of Dover; a son, Boe Green and his wife, Kimberly, and son, Ryan, of Berwick; daughters, Michelle Krupski and her husband, Frank, of Berwick, Sherri Prentice and her husband, Bill, and two children, Shauna and Chris, of Lebanon, and Debra Miles and her husband, Rick, and two children, Bruce Garrity II and Jessica Rhodes of Rochester; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Roland Labrecque Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Dover; a sister, Donna Drouin and her husband, Roger, of Dover; nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Brenda Labrecque, 4 Anderson Lane, Berwick, ME 03901. At Dick's request, there will be no calling hours. Everyone is welcome to join the family at the American Legion Hall in Somersworth on Saturday, Nov. 26 beginning at 11 a.m. for a celebration of his life.
