Joseph L. A. LABRIE

HARTLAND -- Joseph L.A. LaBrie, 62, died on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit, in Waterville.He was born in Waterville on Sept. 30, 1942, the son of Leo J. and Jeannette (Gervais) LaBrie.He was educated in local schools and attended Waterville High School.He is survived by his son, Michael J. LaBrie of Waterville; his daughter, Michelle LaBrie of Waterville; six brothers, Robert LaBrie of Fairfield Center, Raymond LaBrie of New Hampshire, Paul LaBrie of Clinton, and Harold, Lionel and Gary LaBrie, all of Waterville; three sisters, Mary Peace, Simone Johnson and Pamela LaBrie, all of Waterville; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.A gathering of family and friends will take place 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. At his request, there will be no funeral service.In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be sent to: Children's Miracle Network, 4525 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84147.
