Joseph LACHANCE

LaCHANCE, Joseph -- Joseph LaChance, 74, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Glastonbury, entered peacefully into the waiting arms of our Lord on Friday (January 7, 2005). Born on Oct 30, 1930, in St. Agatha, ME he was the son of the late Vital LaChance and Laura (Souci) LaChance. Joseph served in the Korean war. He was a gifted carpenter and enjoyed dancing, bowling and playing pool with his friends. He is deeply mourned by all fortunate enough to have known him and known for his incredible smile. He is survived by his wife, Raymonde LaChance and his three children, Cynthia and husband Mark, Michael and Jeffrey and wife, Fatima as well as five grandchildren. Memorial service to be announced, will be held at South Congregational Church in South Glastonbury. Published in the Hartford Courant on 1/23/2005.
