RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mitchell "Mitch" LaCroix Jr., 49, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at his residence.Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.Survivors include his wife, Amy R. LaCroix, of Rayne; three sons, Jude LaCroix, Chad LaCroix and Benji LaCroix, all of Rayne; five grandchildren; parents, Rufus LaCriox and wife, Judy, of Rayne, and Lucille "Tookie" Patin and husband, Donald, of Rayne; two brothers, Danny LaCroix and wife, Brenda, of Rayne, and Michael LaCroix and wife, Mona, of Rayne; and two sisters, Josette Bates, of California, and Pauline LaCroix, of Rayne.He was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Thomas and Timothy LaCroix; and grandparents, Alex and Claudia LaCroix and A.J. and Lucille Larrivierre.A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. this evening.The family requested that the visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Wednesday until service time.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mitchell LaCroix's name to First Louisiana Bank in Rayne.Arrangements have been entrusted to Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne, (337) 334-3141.
