Elsie M. LAFLAME

WINDSOR — Elsie M. LaFlame, 89, died Aug. 11, 2005, at Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center's Skilled Nursing Facility in Windsor.She was born July 17, 1916, in Springfield, the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Lovely) LaFlame.She attended schools in Weathersfield and Springfield.She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Windsor for 37 years, retiring in 1973.She was a member of the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church in Windsor.Survivors include seven cousins, Ruth Claflin and Robert Scott, both of Springfield, Barbara Humphrey and Richard Scott, both of Chester, Fayette Scott of Johnson, Fayan Nelson of Windsor, and Allen Scott of Granville, N.Y.She was predeceased by a brother, Frank LaFlame.The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Ascutneyville Cemetery in Ascutney.The Rev. Delaine Farnum will officiate.Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 756, Windsor, 05089.Arrangements are under the direction of the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor.
