LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home Chapel for Ramona Broussard, 74, the former Ramona LaFleur.Ramona was born Feb. 4, 1931 in Elton, La. and went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.Interment will be in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.The Rev. Paul Bienvenu will conduct the funeral service.She is survived by her husband, John Bernice Broussard, of Lafayette; two daughters, June Cecile Finch and her husband, Richard, of Kenner, La., and Patricia Ann Broussard, of Lafayette, La.; one brother, Paul Lafleur; four grandchildren, Rachel McSherry and her husband, Rob, Grant Boullion and his wife, Tina, Adam Kirk and his wife, Jennifer, and Nancy Kirk; and four step-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Lafleur; and her mother, Alice Ardoin Lafleur.A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. this evening.Visitation will be observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until time of service.
