Sidney Ferdinand LAMBERT

Sidney Ferdinand Lambert Sr., a retired electrician, died at East Jefferson General Hospital on Sunday April 10, 2005. Age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Mestier Lambert by first marriage and Lorraine Smith Lambert by second marriage. Father of Sidney F. Lambert Jr., Gary J. Lambert, Sheryl L. Nusloch, Gaylyn M. Lambert and Mary Beth L. Haro. Son of the late Marie Gabrielle des Dunes Lambert and John Sidney Lambert. Brother of J. Weldon Lambert, Richard E. Lambert, Marcia L. d'Aquin, Myra L. Barba and Rhea R. Lambert. Grandson of the late Amelia W. and P. Ferdinand Lambert and Gabrielle D and Pierre E. des Dunes. Survived by 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Lambert was a WWII veteran of the U. S. Navy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3368 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119 on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Visitation at the church 9:00 AM until funeral time. The Rosary will be recited prior to the Mass. The Burial Service will be at St. Louis Cemetery #3. In lieu of flowers, MASSES preferred.
