Rousseau, Mae Landry She was taken away by her very special angels after a long-term complicated illnesses at 1:35 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, in Belle Rose. She was homemaker and resident of Belle Rose. She was 89 and a native of Brusly-St. Martin. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jules Catholic Church, Belle Rose, at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Jason Labbé. Interment in church cemetery. She is survived by her niece whom she raised, Colette Landry Thibodeaux and her fiancé, Edward Hidalgo, their children, Shane Anthens, John, Danielle and Clay Thibodeaux, Joey Thibodeaux and fiancée Tasha Hardy, Christy, Casey and Brendie Mcleod, Brad, Cheryl, B.J. and Austin Hidalgo; sisters-in-law, Bernice, Agnes, Rosanna and Mildred and Rita Rousseau; a brother-in-law, James Templet; nephews and nieces, Larry and Glenna Landry, Lamar and Audrey Landry, Honore and Connie Landry, Suzanne and Gary Gomez, Diane and Louis Voiron, Brenda and Max Prejean, Mary Randazzo, Susan and Roy Landry Jr., Brent Landry, David and Linda Landry, Dennis Landry and his fiancée, Pat Gros, Dale and Marilyn Landry, Wanda and Irvin Landry Jr., Tommy and Dawn Landry and Robin and Daryl Landry; and a host of other nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews of both the Landry and Rousseau families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris "Tab" Rousseau; companion of 34 years, Artus "Uncle T" Landry; her parents, Aurilien and Florestine Charlet Landry; two sisters, Edna and Olivia Carmouche; six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Charles Oliver, Adam and Molly Landry, Irvin Sr. and Judy Landry, Betty and Roy Landry Sr., Louise and Norah "Monk" Landry, and Hebert and Cecile Rousseau; and in-laws, Nolan, Richard, Joe, Lloyd, Masie Templet, Lillian Rousseau, Leonard and Pearl Barlow and Hillary and Corrine Dupre Rousseau.
