Moise J. LANDRY

Moise J. Landry, 80, a native of Chackbay and a resident of Raceland, died April 2, 2005. He is survived by one son: Randy Landry and one daughter: Elaine L. Pierce. He is also survived by his son-in-kaw Nickles Pierce and his daughter-in-law: Karen G. Landry. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, Brother Villier Landry and sisters: Doris Sanchez, Una Ledet, Annie Matherne, and Leona Crochet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bella Folse Landry, his parents Lucien Felician and Ernestine Rousseau Landry. Stepmother Marie Vicknair Landry, sisters: Nobie Levron, Mildred (Blanche) Keller, Hazel Landry, Bernice Aucoin, Elise Cheramie and brothers: Wilbert, Ernest and Joseph (Eugene) Landry. He was in the United States Navy, A World War II veteran and was stationed in the Pacific. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He retired from Transocean Offshore (Sonat Offshore Drilling) and Northrop Grumman Ship Systems (Avondale Shipyards). He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Hilary Church. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
