ST. MARTINVILLE - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Valerie Landry Delahoussaye, 85, who died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at her residence in Cade.Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.Survivors include her son, Maurice Delahoussaye Jr., of Cade; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Delahoussaye Sr.; her parents, Luc and Cloma Babin Landry; her brother, Donna Dieu "D.D." Landry; and her sisters, Lucille Hulin, Angelina Dupuis and Leontine Delahoussaye.The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. today, Jan. 5, 2005, and will continue from 7:30 a.m. Thursday until time of service.A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today.Pallbearers will be Luke Delahoussaye, Troy Broussard, Nolan "Butch" Maturin, Al Landry, Jeffery Landry and Eric Geoffroy.Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
