Madge E. LANOUE

Madge E. Lanoue, 87, of Claremont passed away November 12, 2005, at Claremont Care Center. She was born June 18, 1918, in Pomona, CA and had lived in La Verne before moving to Claremont in 1969. She graduated from Bonita High School, and received her Master's degree from La Verne College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Claremont. Madge was a home economics teacher for 40 years at Bonita High School. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Northup of Claremont; three grandchildren, Gregory Northup of Pomona, Jeffery Northup of Lodi and Suzanne Gutierrez of Montclair; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Fischer of Hemet; and sister, Enid Hopkins of Douglas, AZ. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Park Cemetery, Claremont. Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, is in charge of arrangements.
