Gary Edwin LAPOINT

Gary Edwin LaPoint, age 69; passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 13, 2005 after a long battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "Henry" and Leona Marie (Peltier) LaPoint; 6 brothers; & 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ruth; children, Gary (Roxanne), Sheryl (Kevin), Julie, Beverly (Ed), Roy, Becky, Barry (Becky) and Cyndi; brother, Jim (Carol); sisters, Lillian (John), Rosella and Jacquetta (Dale); brother-in-law, Lee "Junior" (Arlene); 22 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Special thanks to sister-in-law, Betty and Kim. Ruth would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Hospice, Unity Hospital (2 West), and the Hubert Humphrey Cancer for the wonderful care and compassion shown to both Gary and her. Funeral service 12:00 Noon, Friday, June 17th at Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home, 230 - 13th Ave. NE, Mpls. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM and one hour prior to service. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery.
