Hazel A. LAPOINTE

GRISWOLD -- Nov. 20, 2005. Hazel A. Phaneuf, 88, of Belvedere Ave. Jewett City died Sunday at the Haven Health Care Center in Norwich. She was born Feb. 28, 1917 in Putnam, Ct. daughter of the late Isaac & Josephine (Whittemore) LaPointe.On Jan. 19, 1950 she was married to George J. Phaneuf in Baltimore, Maryland. He died July 7, 1992. Mrs. Phaneuf worked as an inspector at the Ashland Mill, the Aspinook Mill, Plastic Wire and Cable and last worked at Yardney Electric. Proud of her home, yard and flower gardens, Mrs. Phaneuf spent many hours attending to them.
