William J. LAROCHELLE

POWERS, OREGON - William J. LaRochelle died December 28, 2004, in Oregon. He was the son of the late Ovila J. (Frenchie) and Julia Hayes LaRochelle. Bill attended Keveny Academy and Cohoes High School completing his education in the U.S. Army. Prior to moving to Powers in August 2004, Bill was the proprietor of Gus's Riverside Restaurant in Greenwich.Survivors include his son Dr. William J. LaRochelle Jr. (wife Colleen) of Madison, Ct. He was grandfather of Jonathan, Lindsay and Lauren LaRochelle. Brother of Joan Dawson, Diane Ghetti and Rose (Jack) Johnson all of Cohoes; and Ann (Ross) McKersie of Lacanto Florida. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marra Funeral Home in Cohoes.
