LITTLE EGG HARBOR -- Florence E. LaRue, 84, died Saturday in Arcadia Rehabilitation Center in Little Egg Harbor.Born in Morrisville, PA, Ms. LaRue was a resident of Hawaii, Alameda, CA and Morrisville before moving to Little Egg Harbor.Ms. LaRue retired as a school teacher specializing in reading at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton.She was a former member of the Women of Trinity and the All Saints Guild at Trinity Cathedral, member of the California Retired Teachers Association, the National Teachers Association, International Reading Association, American Association of Retired Persons, Historic Morrisville Society, Fallsington Historic Society, a member of the Alumni at Trenton State College and a member of the Friends of Morrisville Library.Daughter of the LeGrand L. and Florence (Kelly) LaRue, she is survived by her longtime friends Ruth Broomfield of Morrisville, Stephen and Lila Broomfield of Ewing, and Derek and Tina Broomfield of Ewing.Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA with the Rev. Dean Lloyd Chattin officiating.Interment of her cremains will follow in Newtown Cemetery.Published in The Times, Trenton, on 4/12/2005.
