Shirley LATOUR

Shirley LaTour Rettman, 71 of Metairie, LA. passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2005 in Harrah, OK after a 2 year battlle with cancer. She was born May 21, 1934 in Dallas, TX. She is the daughter of the late Phillip LaTour and Dollie Rogers LaTour of Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Rettman, Jr., and her youngest son, Matthew Allen Rettman. She is the beloved mother of Robert H. Rettman, III (wife Colleen) of Harrah, OK, David M. Rettman (wife Kimberly) of Phoenix, AZ, Mark S. Rettman (partner Thomas Donahue) of Garrison, NY, Denise Rettman Zimmer (husband George) of Nashville, TN and Melissa Rettman Royerre (husband Mark) of Kenner, LA. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Edward LaTour. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She worked as an insurance agent for the past 22 years and was a retired employee of Compass Capital Management, Inc. The family would like to express a special thanks to Robert H. Rettman, III and his wife Colleen Dunn Rettman for caring for their mother throughout her illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Parkway, on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Garden of Memories.
