Roland LAVALLEE

Roland Lavallee age 91 of Joffre Avenue, Woonsocket died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at home. He was the husband of the late Evelyn M. (Boivin) Lavallee who died in November of 2004. He was born in Woonsocket on March 1, 1914 a son of the late F. Euclide and Clara (Rondeau) Lavallee. He was a life long resident of Woonsocket and a communicant of St. Agatha’s Church in Woonsocket. He had worked at the former Providence Shipyard during WW II fixing and repairing pumps on various warships. He later owned and operated the former Snow-White Chemical Company of Woonsocket for sixty years before he retired in 1995. He leaves one son Donald H. Lavallee of Woonsocket and one brother H. Robert Lavallee of Delray Beach, FL. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Roland Lavallee and the brother of the late Heliodore, Edgar, Oscar, Romeo, Henry, Royal and Walter Lavallee and Violette Auclair, Irene Belanger, Cecile Labelle and Clara Mello.Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 10 AM in St. Agatha’s church, Joffre Avenue, Woonsocket.
