Mr. Stanley B. Marsh May 11, 1917 - November 27, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Survived by his wife, Eileen of 61 years; daughter Patricia Horsthuis (Harry0 and Brenda (Giovani); brother John of Stratford, Ontario, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Stan was born in Staffordshire, England and at the age of 5 moved with his parents to Colbourg, Ontario. He worked in Toronto until joining the RCAF, serving 5 1/2 years. He married Eileen and they settled in Vancouver. Stan's main interests were music and the Masonic Order. A former member and bandmaster of the Salvation Army Reservist Band whose main purpose was the playing of music at Senior Citizens and Nursing Homes, also a long time meber of the Shriners of BC Concert Band and former bandmaster. Past Master of Commonwealth Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Past First Principle of Joppa chapter, Past Grand Superintendent of Royal Arch Masons, Preceptor of Columbia Preceptory and Part Provincial Grand Prior of the Sovereign Great Priory of Canada (Knights Templar.) Service of Remembrance will be held at the Salvation Army Cariboo Hill Temple, 7195 Cariboo Rd, Burnaby, on Monday, Dec 20/04, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army Cariboo Temple, or to the Shriner's Children's Hospital Fund.
