Rita (LaTour) Graves, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Louis and Adele (Macco) Roskowski in Green Bay. She married Robert E. LaTour in 1947, he preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1986. On January 25, 1991, she married Frederick L. "Fred" Graves and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2002. Rita was a talented crafter and sold her wares at Green Bay farmers markets for 15 years. She was active at the Brown County Senior Center and she and her husband Fred were active members of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rita was known for her warm smile and caring personality. She was a compassionate soul and loved everything in nature, especially her dog, Benji. She was an avid Packer fan. Rita had a deep faith in God. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Catherine) LaTour, Green Bay; special niece, Marlene Lardinois, Green Bay; brother-in-law, Gerald (Jean) LaTour, Las Vegas NV; sisters-in-law, Jean (Bob) Weigand, Kalamazoo MI; Marlene (Ken) Marquardt, Green Bay; Janice (Ed) Klarkowski, Green Bay; Gen Roskoski; Dorothy Ross; and Marian Roskowski; many nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by several brothers, sisters, and in-laws, Lloyd Daniels; Vernelda Ault; Marge and Hank Vandenput; Joseph and Margaret LaTour; Aaron and Elaine LaTour; Lenore and Leonard Karnopp; also preceding her in death, June (Norman) Suplinski; Ceil (Ben) Charneski; Agnes (Francis) Vickman; Peter Roskoski; Emil Roskowski; Ed Ross; Richard Roskowski; and Rose Wiggins. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple St., Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Parish Prayer and Scripture Services Friday at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Msgr. Brian Coleman officiating.
