JOHN STYLENKO 1925-200 - The funeral was entrusted to Les Maisons funéraires Blais of Val-d’Or. - VAL-D’OR ... Passed away on June 17th, 2004 at the Val-d’Or Hospital, at the age of 78, Mr. John Stylenko, resident of Val-d’Or, spouse of the late Carrie Lukey. Survived by his children : Johnny (Julie Gagnon) of Val-d’Or, Lisa (Leon Lamothe) of Val-d’Or, Nina (Ricky Hodge) of Hatley, late Peter Stylenko and late Christine Stylenko; his seven grandchildren : Timothy, David, Richard, Simon, Francis, Olivier, Sabrina; his sister-in-law : Stella Nickson of Sarnia, Ontario, his nephews and nieces, many relatives and friends. The funeral was held on Monday, June 21st, at 16:00 at St-Sauveur’s Church, followed by the burial at the Val-d’Or cemetery. (L'Écho Abitibien, Val D'Or QC 2004-06-30)
