HANYCZ, John, At home on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 with his family by his side. Loving husband of the late Sophia (1979). Beloved father of Olga and her husband Bryan Magwood, Walter and his wife Marika Hanych, Lesia and her husband Bohdan Szczurko , and Bill and his wife Diane Hanycz. Proud Dido of his grandchildren Michael, Lorissa, Greg, Daniel, Matthew and Andreeko, and of his great-grandson Brendan. Mr. Hanycz is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m. Memorial remembrances to the Children of Chernobyl would be appreciated by the family.
