Doris M. WEIDNER

Doris M. Noel, 92, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, Dec. 26, 2005, at a local nursing home. Born on Oct. 16, 1913, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Mathew and Louise (Carpiaux) Weidner. Doris married Arnold Noel on May 18, 1935, at SS. Peter and Paul Church and he preceded her in death on August 12, 2001. She will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and wonderful grandmother who enjoyed spending time and playing games with her grandchildren. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Paul and Marge Noel, New London; five grandchildren: Russell and Tara Noel, Colorado Springs, CO; Reed and Barb Noel, Germantown; Doug and Tina Noel, New London; Kristin and Brett Christopherson, Little Chute; Karrie and Kevin Deering, Little Chute; 13 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law: Rosalie Noel, Milwaukee; and her godchild: Kathy Piwowarczyk, Chandler, AZ. Preceded in death by her parents; husband: Arnold; one son: Roger Noel in 1998; two sisters: Rose (John) Piwowarczyk, Charlotte (Herbert) Brown; one brother: Walter (Phyllis) Weidner. Friends may call at St. Bernard Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Rev. David Pleier officiating.
