KOO, James - At his residence, Kitchener, Monday February 9th, 2009. James (Gee Yam) formerly of Markdale in his 71st year. Loving father of David and his wife Jennifer and Jacquelyn Koo, all of Kitchener and Shannon Koo of Tokyo, Japan. Sadly missed by brothers Peter (Sing Hoon) and Elwood (Gwaw Jong) and his wife Kerry Cragg of Owen Sound, and nieces and nephews Barbara Koo-Strachan and her husband Dean Strachan of Markdale, Christina and Chelsea Koo both of Toronto, and Pearl and Evan Pelletier both of Timmins. Also will be sadly missed by granddaughter Emily and grandson Bruce. Predeceased by parents Joseph (Gee Gan) and Winnie (Oy Hong) and by brothers Jack (Yung Chong) and Frank (Foo Lun). The family will receive friends at the MAY FUNERAL HOME, Markdale, Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Sunday February 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment in Markdale Cemetery.
