Jean STOREY

SULLIVAN, Jean - It is with profound sadness and loss that the family of Jean Sullivan (née Storey) announces her death on February 12th, 2009, after a valiant battle with cancer. She served her community with enlightenment and integrity for all her days, 2 years teaching in St. Vincent Township, 39 years with the Toronto Board of Education as a Teacher and Principal, several years with the Association of Community Living in Meaford as staff and board member, helping establish the Friends of the Library in Meaford, driving for many years for the Cancer Society and of course many years of devoted service as a trustee with the Bluewater Board of Education. Jean will be greatly missed by her family, Frances Morgan, Jesse Elias, April Elias, Nicholas Elias, Sarah Hills and her step children in the UK, Barry Sullivan and his children; Alex, Emma, Stuart, Colin, Justin, Laurie, Jenna and Emily, and their children, Gail Mortimer (Jack) and Catherine Sullivan and daughter Rhiannan and many, many nieces and nephews all over the world. Jean's family will receive friends at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME in Meaford on Sunday, February 15th, 2009 from 5 until 8 p.m. A private family service of committal and interment of Jean's ashes will be conducted at Lakeview Cemetery in the spring.
