Alice COMISSO

KNOX, Alice (nee Comisso) Peacefully at the Carleton Lodge on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Born in 1920 (Codroipo, Italy), the beloved wife of the late Thomas Joseph Knox of Quyon, QC (predeceased 1999). Loving mother of Wayne, Mary Locke, Bill, Phyllis, Arline (Trevor Shaw), Gavan (Carole), and Carol-Ann Cleaver. Cherished grandmother of 15, great-grandmother of 15, with 2 more on the way. Survived by her sister Arlina de Varennes and her children Marc and Maria, her brother Alvin Comisso and his seven children, her sister-in-law Gerry (Leo Knox) and her family, as well as many other relatives in Toronto, Windsor, Detroit, Ohio, California and Italy. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven, Friday, February 6, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, February 7, 2009 to St. Monica's Church, 2080 Merivale Rd., for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
