BAINS, Ratan Kaur May 3, 1933 - January 31, 2009 With a heavy heart we wish to inform you of the sad demise of our beloved Ratan Kaur Bains. She passed away in the care of many doctors at Foothills Hospital on January 31, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta. Ratan Kaur was born in Phagwara, India in 1933 and was married to Sqn. Ldr. Joginder Singh Bains in 1951. Upon marriage she relocated to Lehli Kalan District Hushiapur, India until 1982 when she migrated to Canada with her family. She is survived by her loving husband and two sons: Satpal (Parveen) and Harpal (Sonia) along with two daughters Narinder (Sukhdev) and Simerjeet (Bhagat). She also had nine grandchildren who she cared for very much: Jaskamal, Simran, Manjot, Manisha, Stephanie, Shauna, Bharvir, Jaskiran, and Herman. We will miss her presence very dearly. Funeral Services will take place at Heritage Funeral Services located at 3219 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta on February 8, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. For more information contact 403-285-3794.
