CHO, James (Hing Hong) October 26, 1947 - February 3, 2009 With great sadness, we announce that James Cho passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the age of 61 years. James was a devoted and wonderful husband and father who will be dearly missed. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Guan Ying, his daughter Michelle and his son William; as well as his sister and brothers, other extended family members and dear friends. To all those who knew him or met him in the briefest of times, James was a true gentleman who was kind, generous and charming. James thrived and took much pride in a career as a court journalist in Hong Kong before immigrating to Canada thirty-five years ago. He treasured his family most of all and they were the center of his doting efforts and attention. His strength is reflected in his struggle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia for nine years, which he bravely fought. Those wishing to pay their respects, may do so at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1708 - 16 Avenue N.W., Calgary, (across from the North Hill Shopping Centre) on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Calgary Crematorium Chapel, 3219 - 4 Street N.W.
